THE INCREDIBLE ESTATE OF THE LATE GENE YOUNG - Auburn Alabama
- The Gene Young Car & Tractor Collection Auction ends Thursday, Sept 26 starting at 7:00pm central time (soft ending, extend one, extend all). This means that any item that receives a bid in the last 5 minutes, the entire auction will extend another 5 minutes and will continue to extend until all items have stopped receiving bids. It allows you, the buyer, an opportunity to bid on one car, the entire collection or another car or tractor if your first choice gets to high without the auction ending before you can bid on another one. We will start reducing the extension time as bidding slows.
- The Gene Young Signs/Gas Pumps & Petroliana/Collectibles online auction ends on Friday starting at 7:00pm. The same terms and bid extension apply just like the car auction. We also have another auction ending that evening (Friday). The Military Collection Auction (one of Mr Youngs son's personal collection) is located at the same location and he has decided to liquidate his collection at the same time. It also is extend one, extend all.
- OPEN HOUSE - Pearce & Aumman staff members will be onsite at the Young Estate for OPEN HOUSE tomorrow & Friday. ADDRESS: 401 AIRPORT ROAD, AUBURN, ALABAM. The cars/tractors/military collection/signs can all be viewed on Thursday (tomorrow) starting at 10am and we will be onsite until 5pm. The cars/tractors auction end that night. Military and Signs can also be viewed on Friday starting at 9am until 3pm. Again, those auctions end that night.
- PICKUP/PAYMENT - If you purchase a Car or Tractor, you can pay and pick those items up on Friday, 9am -3pm. The next pickup days for Cars/Tractors/Signs/Military will be Thursday, Oct 3, 10am -4pm, Friday, Oct 4, 9am - 4pm, Saturday, Oct 5, 9am - 3pm. NO PICKUP ON SATURDAY, SEPT 28 or Sun, the 29th! We will also schedule a pickup date on Monday, October 14, 10am - 3pm.
- PAYMENT - Cars - We do not accept credit cards as payment on cars/trucks. Payment by Cash, Certified Funds or Bank Wire. Tractors & signs can be paid by credit card up to $2500 (3.5% added for fees). We accept bank wire, cash or certified funds as other options.

We will also send the buyer any files we may have on that vehicle as well.
- Signs/Memorabilia shipping - We do not have the ability to ship large signs such as neon, gas pumps and large/heavy items. If you need an item shipped, we will load it into our van and take it back to our offices in Alabaster, Alabama to pack and ship to you. We charge a $20 packing fee to pay staff to haul, package and ship on top of the cost of the packing materials and actual shipper costs. We use Shipping Saint as our shipping source. Of course you can pick up in person if you are available.
- Vehicle/Tractor Hauling - If you need your collector vehicle, tractor or military vehicle hauled, we have a couple of good, dependable sources who you can hire to deliver your purchases to you. We will connect you to our shippers after you have made your purchase.
- WEATHER - As many of your know, we have a Hurricane headed towards the coast of Florida on Thursday and Friday. Auburn Alabama will receive a large amount of rain and some wind but we should be safe from the worst of the storm. We will be there on Thursday and Friday, RAIN OR SHINE! If you plan to come pick up your car or tractor on Friday, be prepared for the rain.
