A PART OF SEVIER COUNTY’S ORIGINAL HISTORY
This magnificent property has been in the Trundle Family for several generations.
All the present heirs are getting up in years and have decided it is time now to sell this OLD HOMEPLACE.
The Historic Brick Home was built in 1795 by Thomas Buckingham. It is Sevier County’s Oldest and 3rd Oldest Brick Home in Tennessee.
This Home is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Historians from the University of TN and others have studied this home and marveled at many of its unique features such as the design of the thick brick walls, original interior door hinges and many others. Family members say the founding fathers of nearby Sevierville met here to decide where to locate the town. Some of the family lived in this home until recently. Home is old, but livable.
This farm is absolutely gorgeous and has been divided into 4 nice tracts,
all fronting Hwy 338.
TRACT #1 has 5.2 acres w/historic home, barn, and outbuildings.
TRACT #2 has 5.6 ac mostly level, lush, green field w/old family cemetery at back corner.
TRACT #3 has 28+ ac w/ 424+ ft fronting French Broad River. Most of this tract is nice river bottoms and most lays above the 100 yr flood boundary.
TRACT #4 has 31.5 ac w/ 441+ ft on French Broad River and most of its bottomland is also above the 100 yr flood boundary. These tracts are unbelievably beautiful.
THE 16.5 AC WOODED TRACT is just a short distance from the main farm and lays off Hwy with a narrow right of way to it.
ALL will be SOLD to the HIGHEST BIDDERS, no minimums, no reserves.
We look forward to seeing you at this
